Meet the Authors

Peter Michalos, MD
Author Bio
Peter Michalos MD graduated with honors from St. John's university in New York where he received Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then graduated with honors grades in medicine, surgery and Pediatrics from the State University of New York downstate College of Medicine.
He completed an internship at the New York hospital Cornell Medical Center. He was resident and chief resident in ophthalmology and ophthalmic microsurgery at Saint Lukes Roosevelt hospital Columbia University. He completed a fellowship in orbital trauma and reconstructive surgery at the Columbia University College of Physicians and surgeons where he has been a clinical associate professor for 35 years. He also completed a three-year fellowship in anti-aging medicine in Southampton NY.
He worked for several years in a medical and urgent care clinic on Rikers Island prison New York to pay back his medical school loans. He has been a student of anti-aging for many years attending anti-aging seminars and visiting stem cell clinics. Long before anti-aging was popular, In 1997 he co-authored and self-published a book on anti-aging to distribute to his patients and friends after his mother’s death at age 68 from cancer, titled Die Young at a Golden age. The theme of the book was if we could slow aging and treat it as if it were a chronic disease we would slow the appearance of all age-related diseases. He is a weekly medical correspondent on WABC radio speaking on a wide variety of medical topics, reaching an audience of over one million people. Over the years he has personally experienced several life threatening and disabling conditions giving him a unique perspective on healthcare.
Dr Michalos has served as a president of a medical staff, a chief of all surgery at his local hospital, a chief of medical case review, and has been honored as person of the year by multiple business groups, nursing, medical societies, police PBA ,organizations for the disabled, and government organizations(Suffolk county executive and New York State Assembly) for his philanthropic work in community health and safety especially during the COVID pandemic. In 2026 Doctor Michalos was inducted as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) national medical Honor Society which is the oldest national medical Honor Society in the United States founded in 1902. Of historical interest 60 of the Nobel prize winners in medicine and science are members of the AOA society as well as 9 astronauts.

Magdalena Swierczewski, MD
Author Bio
Dr. Magdalena Swierczewski is a Board-certified M.D. in Internal Medicine and Anti-Aging Medicine with an emphasis on Integrative Health and Precision Functional Medicine. She is certified in Peptide Therapy, Hormone Therapy, and completed Health and Wellness: Designing a Sustain Nutrition Plan Program from Harvard Medical School Executive Education. Dr. Swierczewski has trained all over the world, including Oxford, England, and holds several degrees, including a Master's degree in social history.
Dr. Swierczewski attended St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed Internal Medicine residency at New York University Medical Center. She is a member of several medical societies and philanthropic boards such as the Hamptons Health Society and advises on several other medical advisory boards. Dr. Swierczewski has several active state medical licenses and does in-office and virtual medical consultations on hormone therapy, peptide therapy, gut health, metabolic and inflammatory disorders, detoxification programs (heavy metals, mold, parasite, bacterial, etc.), and other medical services all over the country while being based in New York. Dr. Swierczewski utilizes her medical expertise to create a 360’ approach to anti-aging and optimize health and wellness for her patients.
Dr. Swierczewski is an author/illustrator of her children’s health book, Rosy & Jojo, An Adventure Through The Human Body. Dr. Swierczewski’s passion is travel, art and illustration, as well as exploring and learning new health, wellness, and medical practices from around the globe to incorporate into her practice. Her current focus lies in further development and research in the area of Precision Medicine, Regenerative and Anti-aging Cellular medicine, working with genomics, stem cells, peptides, hormones, innovative medicine therapeutics, and regenerative cellular treatments to optimize and reverse aging.
